Shawn Christopher is a cornerstone of the West Yorkshire house music scene, boasting a career that spans over two decades of international residencies and local innovation. His journey onto the global stage, was ignited in the early 2000s during two powerhouse seasons in Magaluf (2001–2002), where his technical skill and crowd-reading abilities earned him the prestigious title of runner-up for Best DJ. This momentum carried him to Ibiza in 2004, where he held a coveted residency and became a fixture of the island’s circuit, playing everything from the most popular sunset bars and high-energy workers’ parties to the world-famous “super clubs.”
During this era of peak performance, Shawn’s talent was further recognized on a national scale when he reached the finals of the Corona DJ competition, solidifying his status as one of the UK’s most promising selectors.
Back in the UK, Shawn became a driving force for quality dance music in his hometown of Wakefield. He is the mastermind behind Salvage, his own signature club night, and the legendary Courtyard Sessions. These sessions redefined Wakefield’s nightlife, bringing a Balearic, soulful atmosphere to the city and eventually evolving into Courtyard FM, a dedicated radio platform that champions local and global house music.
His versatility and reputation for delivering uplifting, high-quality sets have seen him grace the decks for the industry’s most iconic brands and venues, including:

DJ MIKEY LAMPS Originally from north London, Mikey Lamps grew up listening to whatever Pirate Station was going in the early 90's and soon got a passion for the vibe. He turned 18 in ‘96 and discovered the ever evolving Garage scene in the clubs around London and was hooked!! He started collecting vinyl from then on and at 20yrs old ended up on a plane to Tenerife with nothing but a bag of vinyl. He travelled round the islands of Spain for the next 5 years playing in the small bars occasionally whilst having fun in the big clubs. He travelled back to Manchester in 2002 where he took a break from dj’ing for the next 15 years. After going oldskool raving at clubs like Sankys and Bowlers in Manchester he decided he missed mixing too much and started up again. A year or so later his passion for vinyl had blossomed and he now has an extensive collection of oldskool Garage tunes from the early 90's onwards, which he is sharing with the listeners through Infinitytunes.
